since we have less than a week until our second anniversary, a little wedding Q&A stolen from Melissa over at simple. positive. happy.


01. When did you get married? March 3, 2007

02. Where was your wedding? Where was your reception? our wedding was on the terrace at Los Verdes Golf Club overlooking the Pacific Ocean at sunset. the reception was in the adjacent ballroom.

03. How long were you engaged? 7 months

04. Where was your rehearsal dinner? at the Chart House Restaurant in Redondo Beach

05. How many bridal showers did you have? one

06. How many people were in your wedding party? 2 bridesmaids, 3 groomsmen and 2 ushers

07. What color did your bridesmaids wear? they were Alvina Valenta dresses in French Almond/Irish Creme

08. Did you see your husband before the ceremony? yep; we did our pictures beforehand since we had a sunset ceremony

09. What was the weather like on your wedding day? it was in the lower 70s and sunny. perfect wedding weather.

10. What kind of flowers were in your bouquet? peonies, roses, mini calla lilies, ranunculus, hydrangea

11. What were your "something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue"?
old - a handkerchief from my great Grandmother
new - my dress
borrowed - a string of pearls that I wrapped around my bouquet
blue - my garter

12. Did you light a unity candle? nope

13. Did you cry during your wedding? yep

14. Where did you buy your wedding gown? Bridal Elegance in Torrance, CA

15. What was your first dance song? Sway by the Pussycat Dolls, with a choreographed dance

16. What flavor was your wedding cake? we had three tiers, all different flavors - red velvet with cream cheese filling, chocolate with vanilla custard and white with lemon custard, all with buttercream frosting

17. Did you smash cake in each other's face or were you "nice"? we were nice. I would have killed R if he smashed cake in my face.

18. Did you freeze the top layer of your cake and eat it on your first wedding anniversary? nope, we ate it before we left for our honeymoon on the following Monday.

19. When did you open your wedding gifts? the following day at our apartment

20. Where did you go on your honeymoon? St. Lucia - I want to go back!
