Ray and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on Monday, March 3rd. we didn't do much, though, since we're in the middle of moving and other extenuating circumstances. our movers arrived at 6:30am to drop off our stuff. they were done by 10:30am and we proceeded to start making sense of the chaos. at least we had time to pick up a small cake (white cake with lemon custard filling and buttercream icing - YUM!) from the same bakery that did our wedding cake. we enjoyed a few slices, hung up some curtains, grabbed Wahoo's for dinner and then Ray left to go back to San Diego for the week. we were talking about it last night and we feel bad that we dropped the ball on our 1 year anniversary. its a big milestone, and we don't feel like we celebrated appropriately. we made a promise to each other to combine a celebration of our 1 year with our 2 year engagement anniversary on July 15 this year. so hopefully we'll be doing something fun.
